I began the internship as an account management intern but, after a few weeks, realized that I may be more interested in strategy so I spent the last few weeks working with two strategists as well.

Delilah designs
a story on fast fashion told by a small business owner
Last year I created a mini documentary about my friend Delilah and her knitting business. In the story I focused on the contrast of fast vs slow fashion through the eyes on a small business owner.

heelprint communications
account executive
Heelprint communications is student run communications agency within the media and journalism school at UNC. The agency acquires multiple clients at the beginning of the semester and the students who get elected to be in the agency are divided into groups and assigned to one account. The students then spend the year working with the client on a certain goal.
Last year I joined the agency and my client was a small local coffee shop called Gray Squirrel Coffee. We were tasked with revamping their social media in hopes of increasing engagement and generating more traffic to their website where they sell merchandise and beans. Additionally, the owner wanted people to know that they roast their own beans in house and have an in house bakery.
